I don't understand why you're asking how to donate two comps to a charity. Surely you just walk in with them & say "Here you go ..."

I don't think it's quite that simple these days. IIRC, "Elf and Safety Madness" means that the typical charity shop has problems with mains electrical items such as PCs.

To the OP: do a forum search on the subject, as this question has been asked before, and I can recall someone recently giving a suggestion for a charity organisation that will take (and presumably do an electrical safety check on) PCs.

Otherwise, offer them on your local Freegle group. Someone will be happy to take them off your hands.

How about your local Age Concern or Community / church / U3A groups?

Not for them to sell but to use

Good point. I was going to suggest this in my previous post, been an active member of my local group. They're fantastic :)
