Unlocking a Blackberry 8800

Can anyone tell me the best place to get my blackberry 8800 un locked ? Are the sites online safe and work or is it better to take to a phone shop Thanks

cant comment specifically on your phone. but every phone i have ever wanted unlocked shops will not unlock as they say they can get done but i have always had my phones unlocked by phone stalls on market costs about £10 and usually ready within an hour if they are busy. might be worth having a look there first as they just jack it in to a lappy.
  • For everyone who is about to unlock your phone. Please don’t go for free code and unlock code generators. Most of these codes won't work and this will reduce your chances to unlock your phone. Always go for some trusted websites. Pay some dollars and get the original codes. I got my code form UnlockGenie, com

I got my code instantly and I unlocked my phone without any trouble. :-)

I'd try a shop. Then you have someone to visit. Website could be a front to scam your card.

It's not illegal to unlock them but remember they take/need your IMEI number, with that they could potentially clone your phone.
