all the restuarants are much alike, best having a look yourself and see what you fancy, all really nice family run restaurants mostly. go to marbella/puerto banus if you are wanting top end restaurants

  • Word of warning about Gibraltar.........
DO NOT take your car onto Gibraltar......5 minutes to get on the 5 hours to get off thanks to the bl**dy minded Spanish customs....
Oh & dont be tempted to buy loads of cheap fags you will get all except 200 confiscated by armed customs officers......
Otherwise it is a great day out.

    PS
Mind the baboons they are worse than the Spanish customs !!!

I should of said to leave your car on the Spanish side as its only a short walk across the border and there is a multistorey car park nearby..

We took some friends to Gib during August and it took us half an hour to get in and no time at all to get out at 4pm. The customs did not stop one car and everyone drove straight out infact the Spanish customs people were stood talking to each other and didn't take the slightest interest in anybody. :D

Depending on where you park in La Linea (the border town) but from the multistorey carpark we parked in I walked it with my suitcase in about 6/7 mins, and from the border its a 10min stroll into Main St. but there are buses from the border..don't forget your passports..
Just one thing if your son is wheelchair bound I remember there being several flights of steps to use the cable car to go up the Rock where the Monkeys are.. Take a look here it will answer a lot of questions..
