Calamine lotion, if i remember rightly, has a cooling effect, for around 30 seconds, unfortunately, aaarghhh

DS has cream for his other problem which works straight away, so if he is scratching just going to use this anyway.

    NO, NO, NO :D

I hate housework. Just a bit more to finish, next week, and that will last until xmas :rotfl:

Seriously, it does'nt get to the stage where it needs cleaning often, as i'm never here. Its a self cleaning oven, too. I believe there are some little gremlins who come out and clean your oven for you, when you're all tucked up, in bed. :D

yes, but it is only meant for the bath. You put it in the bath water, wash with it and wash it off. No, they have given him a special double gel that i have never heard of, but it works :D

You can also use aqueous cream as a cream, like E45 -I have childhood memories of my mum smothering me in the stuff due to very dry skin.

I'm not sure if it would irritate the spots but aloe vera might also be good for the pox as it has a cooling effect. I remember being dotted in the pink calomine lotion too - I actually think it was more itchy than the spots as it dried.

P*ssing with rain down here - you'd think it was October with the weather this weekend (which is actually one of my fav months when the seasons are changing and the dark evenings start - means the run up to the festive season, guy fawkes and halloween - which I love until about 1st Dec by which time I'm usually fed up with xmas :rotfl:)

Ani - if you can persuade LL for a self cleaning oven, see if there is a BOGOF deal and I'll go halves :rotfl: - I'd love one of those *sigh*
