Long Wait for Driving Test
Comments
-
I take on board the comments about if she is a good driver she should be able to pass in any area but it is a matter of confidence and not just knowing the area.
Just managed to get a new date of 11th October.
I must admit that I thought that I had done something to change the date to November by error, but having gone through the procedure just now I now see that it was not me.
Phew That was a weight off my mine. I will wait and see now what details the DSA give me on who changed the test date. I did seem a bit wierd because there were still dates before 9th November but we are on holiday for those dates so I can only hazzard a guess that BSM changed the date wiithout consulting us. I will find out hopefully tomorrow
Thank yo all for your input0 -

It's a test, stick to the roads you know, it's hard enough without trying a new route.0 -
Hi
Just rececived an email from DSA they changed the date they are very sorry  here is part of the e-mail
I am trying to think of out of pocket expenses I can dream up to charge them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Any suggestions ,,,,
Also if they changed the date on 16th September how come it did not show up until Sat 18th Sept on a web-site that is supposed to show the situation as it is 'now time'?
Firstly please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of the Driving Standards Agency for the disappointment and inconvenience that you have been caused. Driving tests are only cancelled as a last resort as we are well aware of the distress this course of action causes our customers. May I assure you that the decision to cancel an appointment is not one which is taken lightly.
Appointments are rescheduled when Examiners are unavailable due to extenuating circumstances. On this occasion the examiner was unavailable, and although every effort was made, unfortunately we were unable to deploy an examiner into the test centre. The test was changed on 16 September.
We appreciate the fact that our customers incur costs as a result of a cancelled test and we will consider claims for out-of-pocket expenses on an ex-gratia basis for tests which are cancelled for reasons directly attributable to the Agency.
Please contact us again if you need any further help.0
