Fatcheese - not paying cashback

Hi,

Is anyone else having problems being paid out by Fatcheese?

We usually use Quidco and haven't had any problems with them, but we used Fatcheese for one transaction with Scottish Power which tracked back in May. It has never paid out and since then we've chased a couple of times but are just being fobbed off by Fatcheese.

On this experience I wouldn't use Fatcheese again but wondered if this is a one off or if anyone else is experiencing problems and what we can do to get the cashback we have been waiting on since May.

Many thx.

I have done same transaction which paid no problems with extra 2% loyalty bonus, it has a Fatcheese Cashback guarantee on it so as long as transaction was bonafide with switch taking place then Cashback should get paid, I havent seen anyone else posting about any similar problems.
  • Thanks Bristolleedsfan.

Fatcheese have only just now "awarded" this money in October following the transaction in May.

But on trying to redeem this money it is saying that "redemptions are suspended whilst we update statements"!

I must say it seems fishy to me as we have another Fatcheese account in the family and there were a number of much smaller transactions on that account in May (and before) for only a few pounds and these have been unawarded until now, October, with the same message about redemptions being suspended.

I could be wrong but it seems strange to me...
  • Redemptions are still "temporarily suspended" - have been trying a few times now. Is there a Fatcheese representative on here (same as there is for Quidco) who can explain what's going on please?

Try posting on the Fatcheese forum, they tend to reply very quickly

They appear to suspend redemptions when they are adding daily click payment receipts to members accounts reason being I would imagine is that with such a low cashin level if they didnt suspend redemptions as described above then some members would attempt to cashin only to find after a cashin that they had more available to cashin with still more click payments to be added and with around I guess 20000 members would result in massive xtra work for sites admin.:)

Also thought worth mentioning from the time payment is requested ( obviously unlucky if wanting to request payment at same time as daily click payment receipts are being added to accounts) look how quickly payment are made, seems to be at any time on any day, with payments hitting faster payments system enabled accounts within hours of being made. :)
