  • Thanks for your help. I do have the block pop ups option switched on, that's why I was surprised to see it. I'd googled something and clicked on the first link and then it switched to this security site where the blue pop up box came up (it looked like the blue box that tells you when the battery is running low). The page for the fake security scan never showed up in my history at all, so I don't know which one it was. I'm just glad I didn't go to that website using my computer!

    I still haven't connected my ipod to the PC yet but I'll definitely scan the computer afterwards just in case.
