Hi guys, hope you aren't all fed up of my questions of late.

Have BOS stopped issuing cheque guarantee cards?

    hmm I dunno, I have a reward account and I don't have a cheque book or guarentee card. The account was opened April 09

    My partner opened up a BOS reward account last year. Card never arrived, it was not required anyway as it was only opened for free fiver.

    recently she decided to use the account requested the card. Rather than Visa debit they sent Cardcash electron card twice. She returned the card back with covering note asking to issue correct card.

    She now received new Visa Debit with £100 CG. I think the person has ordered the wrong card as Halifax/BOS no longer issue CG cards.

    HBOS still issue CGC on request and if you are eligible for one. You can request it through telephone banking but it s something that will be phased out the next year

    When I opened my Halifax account in June this year , they told me all new accounts do not come with a CG. Got a cheque book but have used 2 cheques!

    got my BOS reward card today and its got £100 cheque gurantee
