Weather on Costa Del Sol in October half term??

Looking for a weeks all inclusive in October half term (around 20th-27th), mainly a lying by the pool week.

Usually look at Canaries to almost guarantee the weather, fancy a change and have found a couple of nice hotels on Costa Del Sol.

Having not been to the area for quite a few years, just wondering what the chances are of decent weather.

Two years ago, it heaved it down with rain for 2 out of the 3 days we were there, but this was at the end of your dates. The locals said it was unusual to get 2 bad days in a row, but it does become unsettled at that time of year.

We went last year mid November and had glorious weather, but think we where lucky for time of year.
