Hi folks, My laptop is having issues! Everytime I try to load up firefox, itunes etc. basically ANY programme, I get this "microsoft security" message which suggests I have a trojan virus. I had similar a long time ago, don't recognise the "virus software" so I'm assuming if I click "scan system" it will install a virus for me?
My anti virus is AVG, I did a system scan (happily that works) and it has come back clear, no viruses..
..but no other programme will run on my laptop.
Help! I'm confused as to what to do next. :A

Save http://dl.surfright.nl/HitmanPro35.exe to desktop
Then Hold down the left CTRL-key when you start Hitman Pro and all non-essential processes are terminated, including the malware process.
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ma..._anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and go to UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated go to SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)

Next step...uninstall AVG and put something worthwhile on like Avast, Avira or Microsoft Security Essentials.0

your log says "no action taken", if you haven't already, you need to fix them.
then post a hijackthis log.
and ditch avg.!!
