Fingers crossed but it may be too late. Chucking it down here too. I blame my builders the world's worst singers. All is well here. Going out in a bit back in late afternoon. 000203FC.gif

We went down to the car boot for 5.30 am and sat in cafe with friends till almost light then went round to pitch and helped Mr 3Dogs put stuff out, mainly putting out the clothes we bought yesterday. Went home about 9 am and it started to rain on way home. I tried to ring hubbie to let him know that rain was on the way but no answer - he's terrible a hearing his mobile ring however the rain had actually stopped by the time I got home. We live 6 miles from car boot, but only about 4 as the crow flies due to having to double back round the river by road. Hubbie rang to say it had only spitted with rain for a few minutes and was fine again - so the rain had just missed the car boot and our house, and it had only rained across an area about 3-4 miles wide - weird!!!

Any way, I took the dogs for their walk (only a short one) and fed them, then called round to see my ill friend to see her and check if she wanted any shopping, had a cup of tea with her - she was feeling a little better still. I spent about 3/4 hour with her then went back down to car boot, calling in at Mr to get paper for another stallholder and some milk for my friend. Hubbie was almost packed up when I got here, so I helped him with the rest and then had jacket potato and baked beans in cafe there, before driving home, arriving just before 2 o'clock. It had just started to drizzle as I had go back and got heavier as we finished packing up, so had good day weather-wise ...... and a good day for selling too as he made £117 after paying £6 pitch fee, £20 storage charge, and lots coffees and cakes for hubbie but I'm not supposed to know that bit :o

Funny thing about those cakes is that he bought a pack of 4, ate 2 and put the other 2 in the packet on a dining table he had for sale, and they were gone when we packed away - he said that lots of kids had been playing around there so they must have pinched them - now th thing , do I believe him?? or is he hiding the fact that he ate all 4. He didn't have to tell me that he'd had any ....... so I believe him:j :j Cheeky little kids

SW are you back yet? Hope you had a good time :D
