The Star has £5 off £3 spend coupons for L*dl this week - we don't buy newspapers but we do read them at the car boot cafe - they don't normally have the Star but they did today and I asked if I could have thecoupon and he said rip it out and have it, so I did. In exchange I will take him some Farmfoods coupons in as he uses those - we don't spend enough in Farmfoods to use the coupons as I normally only get my loo rolls there and some times frozen veg, and the coupons are for £25 & £50 spends!!!

The council made me Mam's bathroom into a wet room a couple of years ago - they had a shower tray before that. Problem is they did not seal around the existing pipes very well and if the water gets beyond the shower curtain it runs straight through the ceiling into the kitchen, through the light fitting!!! 2 years later and it is still not sealed properly

    I can imagine.
There does seem to be the potential for a lot of problems.
I have had previous problems with the water not draining away properly & flooding the hall.Oh joy~not.

Yeh, Mam has that problem too. Was yours a bathroom conversion too? I think in a new build when it is planned as a wet room, they can get it right, with a slight slope to the drain hole, but to convert an existing floor, they can't get that slope

Well done in spotting the coupons in the daily star.. They certainly help when your doing your weekly shop.. Its a good job we can use Andy's discount card when we go go food shopping. it all adds up and the money you save for my xmas pressie:rotfl:

:D:D On one day, I went through with the coffee, the coupon and a tub of strawberries. Hubbie went through straight after me with just the coffee and the coupon. No problems we even put them into the same shopping bag :j :j :j :j
