Hello Susan isn't on yet. Oh dear. I think it is the paint or maybe stress ? reading and marking usually causes headaches for me since i had problems with my eyes. Yuk. Hope all is well. off to work in a mo. Allie hasn't told us her news. I hope it will cheer us up. I need some more tablets. I might just stick the format of the report on memory stick and come back and mark.

Just seen this quote on Firewalker' diary I loved it. I was given his book as a present many years ago. Still in a pile of books i have not got round to completing. This wisdom thing i like it, wonder if i am starting to acquire it? Drip.. Drip... Drip... maybe one day.

Hello you lovely lot

I see Tixy is enquiring about my news!! well I'd mentioned it because I was all properly excited about it but now when I have to try and explain it it doesn't seem so exciting

Basically yesterday morning as I was about to leave for work my lovely OH had given me a big hug and had said that he'd realised a couple of days previously that he had really wanted to marry me (he said he'd been thinking about it a lot recently -eek!) and he would like for us to get engaged...the only issue is that I've said I will only get engaged when we are more financially secure (which now I feel rubbish about saying as it sounds like I'm saying no!) so anyway the outcome is that although we're not officially engaged yet we may be soon and that makes me a very happy Allie!

Not sure if the news is what people expected or not but I hope it can cheer you all up a little we can have a lovely forum party when it's official (be warned though that may not be for some time !!!)

Oo that is lovely news Allie - and proper exciting :j:j. Don't know how you man is with words but I know some don't often express their feelings so well and its sounds lovely they way he said it.

Even more incentive for the debt busting then! :T So you're sort of engaged to be engaged then!

Tixy thanks - i did post a post on NTN directing you here but by the time I'd written the blooming post I'd logged myself out of the forum so it was lost - so frustrating!

I suppose i am engaged to be engaged! eeee that is exciting! Mr AB isn't the most romantic man in the world (though he apparently does have his moments!!) nor does he say how he feels very often so it was lovely for him to say something as lovely as he did!

Yep! Thankfully OH (only) owes some money to his brother who has said hes in no rush to get it back so it's just me that needs to get my bum into super fast debt busting gear! :rotfl: We both need to get into super fast saving gear though!:rotfl:
