hello elantan :) So many gardeners, well that's great because I've to plan a veg 'plot' somehow in my back yard where there's no soil.

Must go, rather preturbed at hearing the sat nav directing me to turn right - i'm sitting in the living room smiley_confused.gif

    talk to you all later.

00020468.gifdelicious needs a sat nav to direct her in her house. oh my i've heard it all now!
When do you reach your destination?

  • Stevie, are you growing any winter veggies? I grew some herbs inside this year but they've stopped growing now :( I also grew carrots, potatoes and beetroot outside. I attempted to grow lettuce and a pumpkin but it didn't work :(

well no not this year .... i bought a poly tunnel this year and once the summer harvest was done i stripped it all back and put down some weed stop built new beds and filled it with earth ... still need to get manure to go on top of it all but that will come ... the plan is to let it rest this year and let the manure etc do its work so that next year (fingers crossed) i can start to get serious .... dont think i have green fingers ... just more good luck this year i think

hey it cant be too far ... i'll make ya a cuppa tea if you want ?

Hiya Allie, No im not growing any winter vegies this year as need to tidy the vegie plot up. Hey well done in growning the carrots, potatoe's and beetroot,
Ive never tried grwoing a pumpkin so maybe next year give it some thought!

I dont have a big plot to grow alot. You cant beat home grown vegetables. Shame about the herbs. :(

Sounds like you have it all planned out in the gdn this year with the manure. Ive been using that anti weed matting from the famous 99p store. to keep the weeds down..
