Good Morning - I got up at 6.45 am just before Mr 3Dogs went off to the car boot - and I've had my breakfast and then went online to book my train ticket for tomorrow   The cheapest ticket I could get this morning cost me £61 and that is for a First Class ticket   I was too late for the £27 ones   Meant that I could get a 2nd Standard ticket for £82.70 or a First Class one for £61 - decisions ... decisions ... doh!! ah well, at least I get free drinks and newspaper, I think, and I'll travel in more comfort :o and I did not have the money in the bank to book it till today so I couldn't do anything else

Just going to get my shower now, get ready, take the dogs out and get sorted for going to hospital with my friend - hope everyone has a good day today - cheer up folks it's FRIDAY

Hi 3Dogs, it might be too late now, but read the artical on MSE about cheap train tickets. The train ticket system in this country is a joke. And sometimes two singles is cheaper than a return, and also getting split tickets for the journey can be cheaper, its bizzare

    Hello all.

Gosh what a busy day for you. I hope hospital goes well. You are such a good friend, i know how much you have helped me, your dear friend must think you are a tower of strength. Do have a good day.
First class will remind you of the Flying Scotsman, if you are not satisfied you can say (in a regal voice) "..... well actually you should be doing this....... and real off a long list...." Sometimes things are meant to be.

hi beanie and Frit. Gosh hope car is ok. Jolly cold here. Beanie it must be freezing up there. They have to take coins back if they are a bank dont they? Gosh i bet they soon build up. Wear gloves. It is jolly cold.

Back later. have a good day all. Today is Marru's last day in her old job and i wish her well. Have a ball Marru. Hope you get lots of pressies and they take you out. Fingers crossed.

Poor JC is going through a hard time again. Can anyone offer any finance advice. I am rubbish on this. We know JC from the old thread we were on before we left MSE. And the ladies were able to offer her support when she was so stressed and in a bad place.

Glad you got a courtesy car while the garage are looking at yours Frit - though fo some reason, you don't seem too pleased ;) Have a good day at work ;);)

I'm just waiting for Mr 3Dogs coming back from the car boot - I spoke to him earlier and he said it had been very slow again :( My friend saw her arthritis specialist and she is pleased with her progress, so keeping her on new medication (which is a bit like chemo in the way that it affects her immune system) and she is next on the list for further treatment i.e. a course of infusions for which she is taking the current meds - she goes back on 4th November and I will go with her then too

No news on Mam yet today which is good - BS is visiting with my brother this afternoon so she will get straight on to me to let me know what happened

Must get some food ready for Mr 3Dogs now for when he gets home, and we need to do some shopping this afternoon too - back laters my friends

My best friend is on Methatrexate (not sure of spelling) which is used for rheumatoid arthritis and is a well known anti cancer drug. Side effects are not pleasant but they have made her more mobile. Fingers crossed for your friend Susan. Gosh you are so busy!!! I hope Mr 3Dogs is ok. Things will pick up before Christmas i hope on the carboot front. Mr 3Dogs you are so nice. The strong, silent type. It is so wierd that he doesn't post. Why not????

    I am so pushy aren't I?

Marru how was your last day at work? I hope it went well and you will be leaving with many happy memories.

Frit petal are you ok? I have pm'd you for advice about something as i am a dork and completely out of my depth and you might know something to help ok.

Hols start today. Man is here doing doors!!! Hooray. Scaffolding has finally come down. Painting inside and out for the next two weeks and finally i will have my housey back. Have to do lots of work but mean to have a fab time and finish Hector. I have told everyone I know that i am going to find a solution to the happiness issue by the time we go back. Aim high i say. Onwards and upwards.
