Marc Almond's voice is perfect for that song - we saw Gene Pitney at Cambridge a few years ago and he was fantastic - he gave everything to his performance - you couldn't believe his age :j :j

We would love to stay with you Kit, but I thought that you wanted to get some more furniture first - have you a bed for us? :D:D I just suggested the Travelodge as I didn't think you were ready for guests ;)

Well i have been to a meeting at work. Boss was lovely to me even though i haven't even started an important report. That will be the first two days of hols down the pan!!!! Then i went to B&Q and bought 12 samples of paint and i am going to put them in every room in the house.

Susan i have a spare double bedroom and bed (but need to order new wardrobes or have some fitted). I have one conservatory chair for two and my own bed and computer desk and computer. I chucked everything out before the builders came as i thought i would have new furniture by now. I reckon after Xmas i will have ordered lots of new furniture and a tv for your bedroom. But Spring is so far away. I want you to be comfortable when you visit. I will cook bacon sarnies for breakfast everyday and we can eat in the garden as that is v nice even if i dont look after it.

Doors will be ordered today and will be fitted from Thursday onwards. Jolly excited. Slowly slowly i am getting there. I am getting my life back slowly but surely.

I have masses of marking to do today but i am going to start by tidying up first. I feel happy and positive. I will keep this 'puter on in case anyone posts but i reckon everyone is busy. Hope you are all having a good day.
