Back hurts, who are Gillett and Hicks? Football or cricket? we dont know about sport you can teach us. I would like it if i learned something. I teach mostly boys and they think it is fab if i mention sport in the old site we learned about Rangers but now i dont know anything. It would give me lots of streed cred.

Poor Steve - I got an email from him this afternoon but he was in agony - but he couldn't sit for long, I think he was going back to bed. It's a shame he can'tget on to chat as that would cheer him up, but I do know how he is feeling. Is your back OK now SW?
Mam was OK tonight - I had to keep telling her she had Corrie on the telly and then, 2 minutes later she'd say 'I don't know what this is on the telly' - she couldn't concentrate very well but we still had a bit of a laugh, so OK
Yes, Frit - goodbye, at last, to Gillett and Hicks, and welcome to Mr Henry - I do hope that they can get things sorted out at the club now
I'm still chuckling about your phone SW

They were the American owners of Liverpool Football club who ran the club into heavy debt - the bank RBS would have fore-closed on their loans and put the club into administration if a new owner had not been found by 4 pm today. They had a buyer but Gillett and Hicks wanted it sold for more money - so it was going through the courts - but court favoured the club and sale has gone through, saving Liverpool from the humiliation of administration

Indeedy you are.
Wow this is what happened to Portsmouth too. Are liverpool ok? oH my gosh we may have to adopt them as a football team. My brother had two fish called Kenny (dalglish) and ian (rush). Crumbs i can remember something. I saw a series in the 80s called 'Scully' which was about a mad Liverpool supporter. Do i get any credit here?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
