    Hey 3Dogs - always enjoy reading your posts on the 'making £10 a day' threads so will look forward to joining you on your diary if that's ok (plus being a '3Dogger' myself, I feel we have a certain affinity! :o)

    No, he hasn't seen it as he is already in bed reading - I have just been in to tell him that his team Sunderlnd just equalised against Arsenal inthe very last minute, so he is happy :D I'll show him the thread tomorrow

    Right - 7.30 pm and I always ring my Mam at this time so will be back after that - mind you I will keep the laptop on and may even post as I can multi-task - my Mam tells me the same things every night, the poor thing is 91 and has dementia, but she knows who is ringing her, and we have a laugh

    Finished talking to Mam now - she had a good laugh - she says she always looks forward to my calls as she can have a good chat and a laugh - my brother looks after her but he spends most of his time in his own room - don't get me wrong, he cooks and washes, and does all the shopping, and generally looks after her well - but he just can't sit and talk to her like a daughter can (can you hear my guilt slipping in there - that I should be looking after her really?)

    My older sister works full-time but does go up on a Saturday afternoon for a few hours with her 2 Grand-Daughters - Mam loves seeing her Great-Grand-Daughters - they keep her going I think!! Big Sis also sits with Mam one night a week when my Big Bro goes on his one night out a week, and calls her every night too - but she doesn't spend the time chatting to Mam like I can - after all it is my only contact with her as I can't get up North as often as I'd like

    Am I boring you yet?

    OK I'm just going to wash some dishes and get my PJ's on and then I'll be back or more

    You have a nice family. Just like you!!! My sister just popped round as my blood test meter battery stopped working this morning. My sugars were incredibly high and i have taken a huge shot of insulin and will try to eat in a bit. All is well.
