Where did you go in London St Steve? Did you go sightseeing?

Have you been on the London Eye? We had a few days in London for our 24h Anniversay (well it was for our 25th Anniversary but I got it wrong - don't ask!!) and we went on the London Eye and it was fantaastic - I had to keep in the centre of the pod though as I'm terrified of heights - I was glad we went. We went into the Dali exhibition beforehand and had a meal at Quo Vadis restaurant afterwards - you know the sort of meal where there's nothing on your plate and they charge a fortune - mind you it was very tasty :T

Just remembered that my facebook pic is of me on the London Eye !!

00020443.gif I'm gonna make a cuppa - I have dippy tea - I show the teabag to the water, one quick dip just to colour the water a tiny bit - no milk of course

Does anyone want one? It's OK you can have proper tea, green tea, fruit tea, coffee, decaff, hot chocolate, horlicks?

Yes have been on the London eye twice both at night and have no problems standing near the edge and looking down. SO great views across London and towards Windsor. We went into Harrods to have a look around and then decided to go to the Victoria & Albert Museum which was good. Then walked back towards Harrods and found a nice pub which we recomend for a meal and the prices are resonable. Anyway after the meal we thought we would go for a walk through Kensington gdns and see the Diana memorial and then after that we carried on walking into Hyde park where we got the tube to Leicester square to find a nice cake shop and have a break. Then we decided to get the tube to St Pauls catherderal and walk over the millenium bridge and walk along the thames and popped into the Modern Tate Exhibition and look around. then we carried on walking towards the eye and decided to sit for a while and rest our feet which were hurting as i found out when we arrived home i had a blisster on me little toe.. Grrrrr But in all we had a fab day out and cant wait to go back in November but that trip is on a steam train from Swanage
