Agree about Wheel of Time - fantastic at first but after a few books you were reading them and not getting very far forward in the story - I've got one here to read sometime, it must be book 6, or 7 or 8 but might as well be 100

3dogs, you ever read stephen donaldson. The chronicles of Thomas Convenant. They were amazing. I remember reading them when I was at uni, I was almost crying at some points. I am a bit of a softie
