Hi Folks,
Does anyone know if they do Aqualux shower enclosure spares?
My builders have accidentally smashed one of the glass panels of the shower enclosure we ordered (also any advice on whether they should pay for this considering it was in our garage that only they were using for storage... as frankly I'm pretty :mad::mad::mad: off with them).
The enclosure is here:
http://www.very.co.uk/aqualux-walk-in-enclosure-and-tray/369645524.prd?browseToken=%2fq%2fshower+enclosure&prdToken=/p/prod4702351-sku7149579
they appear to have smashed the straight panel as opposed to the curved panel.
Thanks,
BatCat

Good afternoon: your best bet is to call Aqualux directly and they can advise.

We needed to replace the rubber seal from the bottom of our 4 panel Aqualux shower screen and they were very helpful.
I paid over the phone and the seal was delivered within days, at a cost of £8.
The builders should definitely pay, in my opinion. They should be insured for accidents such as this.
Good luck0 -

One thing I've learned from posting on here over the last 5 years....never assume an OP has provided all the relevant info or checked out the so-called 'obvious'.

Hey Canucklehead,
(Go Roughriders!!)
Actually in this case we did try to contact Aqualux but they are not open at the weekend, so I figured I would post here and see if anyone has dealt with them before so we no longer feel quite so angry and depressed.
Shower enclosure was definitely in one piece when it arrived about 2 months ago and has been sitting in the garage with the other building materials. When they went to install it though the box wept broken glass when they stood it up.
Sigh...
You give me hope libra10! Thank you!!
Cheers,

I'd be telling 'em to source it as well.

Hi... I'm an 'Arrrrgoooos' fan for my sins:D...are you a fellow Canuck or just an admirer of our finest prairie province?
Good luck with the shower enclosure and the rest of your building works.
