I have a bill to pay for my settee that is due by the end of October. I want to clear it so I dont start incurring interest on it and don't want to put it on credit cards or use my overdraft so I need to earn £300 extra to have by the end of October (I think its the 28th I have to pay it by).
As of 29/09 I need £300
I am determined to make this money so I can make the payment without going further into debt............any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Ok, well I know the feeling hun as I too am in the same boat. I was kinda stupidly banking on getting my bank charges back, but alas this looks like its gonna run for a while.
I only have one thing I can sell thats worth anything, but I cant bear to part with it.
Any chance of you getting some v late temp work off somewhere like gumtree? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I have emptied my cupboards out this afternoon and have two black sacks of stuff to sell. Some of it clothes that still have tags on!!!! (Pre DFW days)
So my OH bless him is takinmg photies of it all ready for me to list on e bay tomorrow! We have already streamlined the CD's and DVD's so they're out.
I have a collection of Tina Turner and Fleetwood Mac LP's some of them look quite valuable (I havn't got a clue - they were inherited) but aside from a boot sale I dont know how to get rid of them.
Also plenty of books but some of them are a bit obscure so I dont think they would sell well anyway.
I cant really get a part time job as my current job is evenings and if I did any other work through the day then I would have to pay childcare.
I think I have been e baying too much lately my little girl just asked if i was going to put her on e bay!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Do you do pigsback? I don't know how but there is a way of getting pigs back payments paid into a casino account (I think) and withdrawing it.
Look on the pigsback thread for details0 -
Good luck!!0

Hi, how about Avon Sales. You could find out if there are any reps in your area, if not then drop some booklets in and get some sales. On average I get about £75 every 3 weeks. If you got the books now, placed the order online by the 11th October, you could be delivering and collecting your money on the 18th October in time for your settee to be paid. There is no payment up front and they take £7.50 from your first lot of sales and £7.50 from your second lot of sales. You do have to pay for books, but it works out at about £5 for 20, so get them out a few times and you should get a bit of money especially as Christmas is coming. Again the £5 doesn't have to be paid until you have collected your sales money. My sales manager gave me about 20 books free the first few times, so you might be lucky here. Hope you like the idea.0
