Hi,
I am wondering if anybody can help!!
I lost my job on the 31/08/2010 due to funding being cut. Therefore on the 01.09.2010 I signed on for contrubution job seekers allowance. I received a letter yesterday though saying that I was not entitled to this as during the tax year 2007 - 2008 I didn't earn enough National Insurance as I was studying for PGCE teaching course.
I was then told I was not entitled to income assessed job seekers because I live with my boyfriend. However he is on minimum wage and he can barely afford his bills already.
Can anybody help me as I have NO money as my boyfriend has no money to share and I feel terrible asking for pocket money off my boyfriend!!
