Credit score worry

Wasn't sure which forum to put this so hopefully someone can help me here or suggest a better place for it.
I have a friend staying with me at the moment. she has moved over from Romania to study and is looking for her own place. In the meantime she is trying to get settled and has opened up a bank account and given my address.
Today she tried to get a pay monthly phone, they did a credit check and of course she gave them my address. The credit check failed.
I have always had an excellent credit score and i'm now worried that it could be damaged in some way.
can anyone advise?

credit scores are personal and not by address so it should not affect you
but it would make sense to check your credit files occasionally0
