When i was a student i found Natwest was the best - because you get a free 5 yr railcard which comes in handy! Also an interest free overdraft which you can increase each year0

If I had my time again I'd go for Natwest over Halifax for my student account, because a five year railcard would have been infinitely more valuable than the big overdraft I got with the Halifax."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

I like the Natwest account for the rail card, and I think the Lloyds account is pretty good as well. The NUS Extra card really is worthwhile!
Be careful with Halifax though, the £3,000 overdraft is huge and will be very tough to clear.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
