    By the way, random question now! You have beading on the top half of your dress - mine is also heavily beaded and i am worrying that it will rub the underneath of my arms to shreds eeek! Was yours okay? :o

    bigmomma - my MOH went to a wedding recently where the bride had a heavily beaded dress and that is exactly what happened! she was running around the guests trying to find people with lip balm to rub on the undersides of her arms because they were red raw!!!

    i also have beading (beading and sequins in fact, even worse for shredding lol) and my MOH has insisted that she will be carrying around a tub of vaseline to slather me in as the day draws on!!

    If my dress starts to rub that much that I need to put Vaseline on, I'll declare that the grease will damage the dress enough for me to go and snip all the beads off with the nearest pair of scissors to hand. If it's to the side of your bust it wont visually matter too much.

    someone has recommended sewing a small patch of voile over that section to help prevent this, worth thinking about?
