Hi ladies & gents!!
Today is my weekend of having no wedding planning, no wedding day or no honeymoon
and I'm bored!! I miss the planning so much already!! I miss everyone's help and advice on here, the support from you all!!
I got married on the 28th August, had an amazing day, everything was perfect (apart from the argument with the MIL  )
My tip to all you planning and getting married.... enjoy the day, have a cut off point the night before and as at that point whats done is done and what isn't done, doesn't matter!!!
Everyone says "enjoy your day, it goes by so fast" it's not until your day comes that you realise just how fast the day goes... by the journey home both my husband and I :rotfl: wanted to do it all over again!!!
Main reason for this message was that I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here for everything... your help... your comments on my invitations (believe me you were all more supportive and commentary over them than most the guests!)...your support... and the community as a whole on this board!! My wedding day may be over now but I'll still be lurking on the board!!
Anyway enough of me rambling on.... photos....

oooh you big tease... where are the photos???Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0

sorry they are so big

The one and only time my groom could look at me as I walked down the aisle, the registrar said to me she hadn't seen a bloke as nervous as he was!!

Us and my parents (please note these are not the prof ones and therefore were taken inbetween shots hence some dodgy face pulling :rotfl:)
Us and our beautiful bridesmaids
Us at the table
And one of my favourites

Awww Lovely pics!!
By the way, random question now! You have beading on the top half of your dress - mine is also heavily beaded and i am worrying that it will rub the underneath of my arms to shreds eeek! Was yours okay?

When I tried it on in the shop it left imprints and I was worried but, on the day..... I didn't feel a thing!!!

I know what you mean about the day going by so fast.
I got married 10th September 2010 - only had the weekend away afterwards as going to Florida with DS and DD in October.
Like you, straight after I wanted to do it all again and part of me felt sad that the day was over.
The day just whizzed by. Its great looking at photos now as some parts of the day I wasn't involved ie the guests arriving etc.
I agree with your advice about not stressing. I tried hard to remember the day and made a conscious effort to take time to enjoy it.0 -
ahhh glad it isn't just me who worries about silly things like that! My mum thinks i am mad but i wanna be semi-comfortable on the day lol.... apart from being squeezed into a corset dress and wearing heels that will render my feet useless for at least 4 weeks!! :cool:Baldrick, does it have to be this way? My dress was heavily beaded and had a corset. It was comfy for most of the day but it wasn't easy to sit down for long

Overall it was a small price to pay though0 -
