Is it worth buying salon hair care

Ebay is a good source of salon hair products for a cheaper price as well - I sometimes buy these and they have all been good bargains. In fact I've sold a couple of Kerstase products as well, when I switched to another shampoo in their range that I like even more! Worth checking out Ebay.0

I would be cautious about using ebay, i bought a 'brand new' Kerastase product from ebay. Bottle arrived filthy and pretty sure the contents were not what they were meant to be! Got my money back but has really put me off. I'm sure there are some genuine sellers out there but you need to be careful. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
As far as buying online goes, I agree with post above that adding p&p can cancel out any saving vs. buying in a local appointed salon - UNTIL (drum roll) .....
I found a website which offers free p&p anywhere in the world - and their prices are usually cheaper (i.e. I just bought LA Science shampoo - should cost £15.00, on this website £12.60 - and no p&p to pay. Bargain!) - and this week there is an additional 10% off all haircare products.
The shampoo is brilliant too and delivery first class about 2 days as promised. They have all the well-known brands.
It is feel unique dotcom.

I would advise only getting Kerastase (or Aveda or any other professional hair care line) from ebay if you know what your looking for and if possible, have the dregs of your last bottle to compare to. I would also dispute any product your unhappy about with ebay as they generally side with the buyer.
I have in the past been sent watered down items but these tend to be very easy to see if you have been using the genuine item beforehand.
I'd also advise online stores like HQ Hair, Lookfantastic, FeelUnique, WantTheLook and etc. The prices they have can easily rival ebay at times. Many do free delivery or discount codes and its worth joining their mailing list for this reason. I used to opst the codes but no one seemed to want them (no 'thanks' at all so I assume no one wanted the codes) and I stopped posting them but last week for example, they had free delivery which meant good prices which ebay looked expensive!0 -
My friend is a hairdresser in a salon and she says that some high street companies (she mentioned Loreal) put as much effort into their high street brands (elvive etc) as their salon brand (maybe Kerastase?-not sure which is theres). I love expensive haircare but to be honest try some high end high street stuff and it's just as good. Everyone is going to have different views but I like to rotate between Elvive, Aussie and Tresemme with some expensive stuff like Tigi, Kerastase and Redken as special treats.Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0

I always use TiGi Fashionista shampoo and conditioner on my coloured hair and it always stays in excellent condition (in my opinion lol). My hairdresser always says the condition is fine anyway! I buy mine from Cheap Smells, TJ Hughes (when they have any in) or there's a very good supplier on ebay who I've been ordering from for ages. Having your hair coloured is expensive enough without it fading uneccessarily or being stripped using shampoo that's going to strip the colour out! I like to shampoo it every day or it just doesn't feel nice enough for me - it's on the greasy side anyway, plus I'm growing it, so keeping the condition is very important. I try and use a weekly deep conditioning treatment as well, to be on the safe side.0

Just thought I'd mention, I've only just started trying "salon" quality products, and have tried the new Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner. Can't say my hair is much better so far. I will experiemen with the other makes you're all recommmending
However, I also tried Philip Kinglsey Elastaciser which you put on wet hair before shampp, its an occasional extra conditioner. I'm really disappointed as it has faded my hair colour noticeably after one appliaction, and my hair is heavy and not great.0
