Has anyone got a head office email address for Habitat?

I am seriously miffed with their dreadful customer service. Items that I ordered online have arrived damaged because of the poor packaging. I had to email them a photo of the damage and they agreed to replace the items.

Three weeks later I am still waiting, as they are waiting for the items to come back in stock. I have rung and rung and spoken to several CSA's and I just get a bland blanket answer. I would like to replace the smashed products with the same thing in the same range but a different colour at the same price (as these are all in stock). Habitat say I am not allowed to and if I want the different items I must buy them!!!

If the items I am waiting for dont come in to stock then I will be stuck with only half a set and what good is that to me?

I swear I will NEVER buy anything from them again!

  • Just a brief note to let Habitat and their customers know that the "Customer Service" they provide is a disgrace. I will never purchase or specify anything from your website again. Any company that lies and treats its customers with such utter contempt desreves to be nothing but a commercial failure.
  • I just wanted to let you know how I contacted Habitat as it was pretty poor otherwise (only via email).

I joined their Facebook page as I'd bought a table online and then a few days later, had a 20% discount voucher in my Elle Deco magazine. I asked via Facebook by writing on the public wall, if I could cancel my order and re-order (as it would save me a lot of money).

A customer services person on Facebook then replied very quickly and got customer services online to call me and they refunded me the amount that I would have got with my 20% voucher and kept my delivery as it should have been so I didn't have to reorder it.

I'm not sure without going via Facebook that it would have been as easy, so I can recommend that if anyone is having problems that they join the Facebook page, as all complaints and problems written on their wall are not a great advert so they are keen to get problems sorted out....

Hope this manages to help someone else!
