after emails back and forth to tesco I think I have finally had a result and as I suspected the "ban" was not quite right, here is the final reply,

    Dear ********

Thank you very much for your reply. I'm sorry if I've caused you any frustration, it wasn't my intention to do so.

I've spoken to James Sanders again today and he believes that it may have been the person who run the store before him who put your ban in place. The previous Store Manager goes by the name of Matthew and as we have no log of the incident, James would be happy to meet you to discuss the ban.

Can you please give me a telephone number and preferred time to receive a call from James? He'd like to call you so he can arrange to meet you in store.

Thank you again for your co-operation.

    Kind Regards

Absolutely....at most Tescos you'll have no problems...ask at CS just to be sure , some do play silly beggars, maybe worth a phone call beforehand ...should get you the right answer and save you being trouted...

There's big banners outside most Tescos. I've never even thought much into it before coming on this thread but double checked at my customer service yesterday and they said it would be no problem using the Sainsburys vouchers ;) Amazing...

Popped into Iceland when I was out today. They had one of their freezers with half price goods - I think they do this after they have had a stock check & want to move some items.
Picked up some of their salmon fish fingers for 50p pkt and coffee profiteroles for £1 and one of their kebab selection normally £5 for £1.50. There were quite a lot of other items which I didn't want. All have at least 6 months expiry on them. I was told by SA that they have had a lot of stuff reduced in the last week or so.
Might be worth looking when you are near a store.
Oh also got a £1 off £5 party pack voucher by using their loyalty card. Used Love 2 shop vouchers from surveys so came home happy even though I had been blown around by the wind and rain.

Thanks, this is actually the link for the free candle which I have been trying for weeks on my laptop to get it to print. I even emailed them and complained that although it kept saying I had printed it, I had not. Just gave this link a quick try and lo and behold was able to print 2 coupons for 2 free candles.:T
