Reccy! Loose variety Daffs in Garden Centres Cheaper than Packets!

bought myself almost 2kg of 'Acropolis' (v. pretty/elegant fragrant double petalled) Narcissi for £3.99 at Fairways GC in Ashbourne, Derbys. A lot of GCs thesedays have loose all-you-can-cram variety daffs that you can fill in a bucket or bag. Think logically, and you can cram so many when you invert the 'nose' over a layer of daffs with the roots in the bottom layer.. that way, you'll be able to maximise the space in the container! i got about 35 in mine! get double-nosed ones for more flowers apparently.
tho' if you're not bothered about special varieties then i'm sure the multi variety cheapo packs at 5kg+ might be cheaper, I dunno...
