A day trip to Mahon is well worth the visit. During the day you can take a trip around the central market which runs 6 days a week or the many craft shops that line the winding streets. Fora bit of history, visit Golden Farm, Lord Nelson's former residence, which overlooks the harbour. The best part of Mahon is sitting out in one of the many bars and restaurants along the harbour. We went to a spanish tapas restaurant called La Morada. It was excellent!0
