Finalising a CD-R

I have a bunch of mp3s on a CD-R, to which I have added more MP3s over time - so I guess that the CD-R was originally burned as a multi-session disk.

However, when I put this CD into my new DVD drive on my PC it only sees the most recent additions.

Any thoughts on how I can persuade the CD-R or the DVD drive to 'see' the entire contents of the disc (I don't have the CDRW drive that the disk was originally burned on any more, but do have a new DVDRW drive)

I suspect that it has something to do with 'finalising' the CD-R

(Just as an addition - when I put the CD-R into my stand-alone DVD player, ALL the mp3s are available to play irrespective of when they were added to the disk)

Thanks

While looking for the answer to an earlier post regarding CD-RWs, I noted that some drives are not multisession compatible. Perhaps that is the problem with your drive?
Can you find the specs of your drive to check?

    Hi f1charlie

I'll need to wait 'till I get home to do that - thanks for responding
