Quick Wheelie Bin Question

We're lucky enough to have a 'bin cupboard' section to house our wheelie bin off the street (as well as being 200 meters from a recycling centre)
Unfortunately our neighbours do not and, with our house being at the end of the street, they (4-5 neighbours) are prone to leaving their wheelie bins outside our property. And it's not walled. I've had pleasantly friendly 'Oh you've left you're wheelie bin there... if you couldn't that'd be grand' conversations as well as physically moving them but they always seem to be in orbit of our house.
Now we're thinking of selling our first house. Bins outside aren't a good look. I don't want to get our neighbours fined or in trouble but I can't really do much more. Which option should I go for.
1) Move the bins a block away. But Visable.
2) Hide the bins in our cupboard.
3) Get them fined.
It's one of those 'I don't want to be a jerk, I'm a pleasent fellow, but ' situations. Any advise / help would be grand x

I moved move them to outside their front door every morning after the bin men have collected, might be a pain but you don't want to start arguments when your selling up.0

If you've got enough room in your cupboard to store there bin as well as yours offered to let them keep it in there as long as they take it out to the street. That way its not hanging around and spreads a bit of neighbourly love.0

Have you tried telling them you've got viewers round and you'll just hide their bin away in your cupboard when that happens? Simple, straightforward and anyone would appreciate that having to get your house in showroom condition is a collossal pain in the bottom.
Pitch it at the line of house viewings being annoying and you'll possibly get more luck than just a "gawd have you left your bin there again" - mind you one set of ours leave theirs out in the street for days and it does drive me nuts so I know how much it can grate over time.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
From a buyer POV....I don't think this will be a deal breaker...we are buying and all the bins seem to be left out the front (no one seems bothered to move them around the back). in the photos of the property they had been moved, but any other time we have viewed, driven past etc they are always there.
Now this does bug me....and I am already thinking of how annoying it will be when I move and what can I do to make neighbours move theirs etc.
However....this does not put me off the house...at the end of the day it is just some bins..annoying yes, dealbreaker not for me.0 -
I'd put them back outside your neighbours.
I do occaisionally move my neighbours bins for them if they've been left in a strange place ...
Let your buyers discover the bin issues... don't create one before you move.
Although I think sharing your bin cupboard sort of solves the problem it also creates the new one of your neighbours bins being in it...0
