hello,
I know this is all about charity. for which i do try and raise funds for differant appeals,
but can anyone tell me how to go about getting sponserships? Its for my grandsons football team and i havent a clue as to where or how to go about it, any info appreciated thanks

Write to the companies you want sponsorship from.0

try to find a compnay with a bit of an interest in it. Companies do get squillions of requests, but if there's one that employs half the parents, or wants more customers who fit the demographic of the supporters then they're more likely to do it. Try to get local press onside, that way the company that does it has more publicity out of it already..
get the team to challenge a team from a company (depends on ages), and if they win then they get sponsored etc... You can even turn this around and prearrange the sponsorhip secrelty,so if they lose then the company turn around and sponsor them anyway.
