SouthWest Wales

Options
I'm thinking about moving to SouthWest Wales, does anybody have any experience of areas that are currently offering good value homes? I'd like 2 get a 2 bed house/cottage/terrace. I'm thing if I drew a line between Camarthen - New Quay thats the sort of area I'd like, Obviously I'm going through the web sites but I just thought somebody may have some experience of the area.

  • I'm as far west as you can get! Prices have rocketed here in the last 3/4 years which makes Pembrokeshire one of the most expensive areas in Wales (but the most beautiful IMHO!)
Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire are a bit cheaper; just have a good search and I'm sure you'll come up with something. What's your budget?

  • I've had a look, and your right prices are comparable in many cases to the West Country where I am. I think in hindsight its not going to offer me the value I had hoped for, but anyway its good for the people who live in the area :)
  • I would love to have a home on the Gower, but can't even afford a mobile home there.

    A wondefully beautiful place.
