Walk-in shower vs shower over bath?

shower baths are good - but they are quite large and take up a lot of room so if your bathroom is on the small side anyway. We found this out when we looked at one for ours - mapped it out on the floor and it took over the room. The better solution was for us to go for a 750mm wide bath instead of a 700mm wide bath - that 50mm makes all the difference.0

I'd prefer a bath.
BUT if you are having a combi boiler to save space then they can be pretty rubbish at filling baths, so you might as well only have a shower.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Be aware that a 'wow' walk in shower does actually take up quite a bit of room and you don't want it to look mean. So I would say shower over bath, as most people would expect to get this in a 1 bed flat. I certainly wouldn't buy a property that didn't have a bath unless there was very good reason (eg low price!)0
