I wonder if anyone has any suggestions?
My parents visited today for appointments at 4pm for eye tests and have only just arrived home!! They had their eyes tested and my father was told that they wanted to refer him over to the hospital as they had concerns re Glaucoma. Obviously this was a shock and perhaps they continued in a daze.
The lady did the typical hard sell and in the end they walked out having paid £800 for new glasses. The lady was quite pushy with upgrading everything but I accept that my parents chose to go ahead.
They agreed only because they believed their health insurance would cover them however they have made a huge erro in that the policy covers them for £400 jointly not each.
They are very upset but I have told them i doubt they will refund. Now I know they have not yet made the glasses so they could call first thing and be honest and explain and see if they could change the order?
It does say on the terms and conditions if they are not happy in first 30 days they will exchange? Could they not just exchange for the cheapest pair if they wont alter the order prior to processing?
I would appreciate any help you could offer
