The natwest first reserve savings account offers a ViSA debit card as I have one - also has a sort code and account no (this can be rare on some savings accounts).

You could also try the tesco instant access saver account as you get a ATM card - http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/savings/index.jsp & you can pay in at any tesco customer services.0 -
I know I !!!!ed up. I know I did something stupid and I didn't even profit from it. Not a single penny. The only person who won in this were the guys who sent the emails.
Anyway. I changed my Student details in to my mothers account. I don't really want to start lying to a company that can stop me from getting a degree. But they have her name in their files since she provided the evidence need. I hope it works. I can live without a bank account if I can get my loan somehow.
Do I have to carry this mark of cain for the rest of my life though? I know people who become bankrupt have that erased from their files after five years. Will it be the same for me?
I'm planning on going to all banks and building societies I can find tomorrow. I know most of them will reject me. Will this make it look like I am even more of a criminal for trying to open so many accounts?0 -

No it won't be for life but don't know how long.
You need to be careful about trying to open loads of accounts, or refuse credit checks until they have accepted you in principle. If you try to open too many you're going to destroy your credit rating as well (because multiple credit checks will damage it), then you're as likely to be rejected for this as your past. And it'll take even more time to repair both.Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.0 -

I tried the coventry account. If it doesn't work I'll open the cardone. I know I have to pay and it will mean less nights out with my friends. But having an account is a minimum. I only pay 70 pounds a year but it will show up on my credit file has a loan paid. Which should help my already wrecked credit score. I only realised now how much I took for granted having an actual bank accounts and getting into a competitive course that I know a lot of people got rejected.
Hopefully if this works. It will mean that I will be studying for four years. Which I hope is more then enough time to get this mark of cain off my back.
Thank you for everybody who helped me.0
