We moved today and all went smoothly

All the months of worry and stress are over and now we will take our time to find a house we want to live in. Meanwhile we are living with close relatives. Life is grand, for the moment.

Just wanted to wish everyone going through the same stress, all the best, it will come together in the end.

Take your time. Prices are continuing to fall.

As prices continue to drop further, you should get a bargain.

    Good luck.

(madnessofhpc : what are you on about?)

Welcoming someone to the dream of ownership. I thought that was obvious to be frank.

Have you actually read the OP?

We went on the market in mid January, got an offer towards end of May, exchanged last week to complete this week.

We had to drop the price three times to find our buyer.

Not buying another house just yet, the jury is still or re rent/buy.

Sorry, my mistake. It's Friday afternoon and I'm trying to multitask here. I remove all prior congratulations.

If you weren't such a debt-junkie with a large mortgage, you wouldn't have to work so hard.

It's actually the thread title that's confusing.

Has the title been changed then? It seems pretty straightforward to me. "Moved" doesn't mean "purchased" ;)
  • Going back to what the thread was about - congrats Whitesatin, I know how stressful it was for you. Good luck in your quest for finding a house in the future :)

    All the best,

    Az
