We went to Folly Farm in the Summer some indoors stuff. feeding animals, etc. Saved Tesco's vouchers for this. A lot better if you can get outside. There is an aquarium in Tenby but felt it wasn't worth the money, very small, no toilets etc.0

I always thought half terms were the same across wales, but this year Carmarthenshire have got theirs on (I think) 23rd October, but Swansea and Neath are a week later. Is this usual?
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
i know its well weird this year !
we are the week after aswell, Monday 30th
I'm in Bridgend0 -
look around this site for ideas -
http://www.visitpembrokeshire.com
they have a key for which attractions you can do if wet weather
e.g. http://www.visitpembrokeshire.com/attractions_display.asp?categoryID=4
see under facilities key (last one)- on right hand side of web page.
also contact welsh tourist board for ideas- you may even get some vouchers to reduce costs.
if you're staying in a caravan may be worth taking a couple of board games, little puzzle books, colouring books etc- perharps bottle of wine.0 -
Folly farm is brill and they have a new indoor play area that grown ups can go on as well (designed for grown ups to go on I should say - no more getting my bum stuck in a tyre)
In Tenby - Ocean Commotion - indoor play area, also does good food and has room for the grown ups to sit down and have a coffee. Last time I went they did a special meal deal for the kids which included a voucher for a free toy on the way out.
Heatherton is good for sporty activities and has a soft play area for young kids - but not really wet weather idea.
Crystal Maze & Cannaston Bowl are good as well - not my cup of tea but I still enjoyed myself.
Good selection of castles to pick from in the area - some are more open to the elements than others though!
Lots to do just depends on what you enjoy doing and age range0 -
I'd go for Heatherton too - loads to do.
And Oakwood of course.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0
