Vinegar.
Left in overnight if you can.
Works every time - honest.
Yep. I pour half a cheap bottle of vinegar down the loo once a week and leave it overnight, and in the morning just flush. I also use vinegar (about 2 tablespoons) in the steam iron topped up with water.
You can soak a piece of cloth or tissue in vinegar and wrap it around the base of taps, drains etc and leave overnight, and all unsightly limescale stains will disappear with just a quick wipe.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
My local Morrisons sell it but its on the bottom shelf so you need to look for it! I have also bought it in PoundStretcher.Do what you love :happyhear0

If the limescale is really bad, Spirits of Salts (from a chemist or hardware store) will shift it. However, you MUST use gloves, and DO NOT get your face near it. It's Hydrochloric Acid under another name, but trust me, it works in seconds!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

So many people mention this product!
WHY is it so good? What does it do that...er...Cillitt Bang, for instance, doesn't do?
Is it just the cost.....or does it have a magic ingredient?
