Cheap parking please in Nottingham and Birmingham city centres

We will be needing to leave our car in one of the city centre car parks this and next weekend
Can anyone please reccomend the cheaper places to park. I know where I am in Leic its muh cheaper rates on a Sunday if you know where to park

There is a car park which I think is free at Smethwick Galton Bridge station which is a 5 minutes rail journey into the city centre with frequent trains0
