Having just started my DMP a letter from MBNA arrived this a.m.. When I opened it I could'nt believe it! They've accepted my offer, stopped all charges, interest etc... AND it was a really nice letter. They said they were sorry to hear about my circumstances etc... Just goes to show does'nt it

MBNA being nice - Are you sure it's not a scam:rolleyes:
Seriously though, best of luck with DMP.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Welcome! :hello:
A DMP is a Debt Management Plan... whereby people may be able to have interest/charges on their debts frozen and pay a reduced amount according to their circumstances.Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way
