Letting Agent & Landlord praise (for once!)

Seeing as how we normally have people posting on here about problems with their landlords or letting agents, just thought I'd post in praise of the excellent service I've recently received from mine!
Washing machine has been playing up recently, with an intermittent fault which got considerably worse over the weekend. I rang the LA on Monday morning to report it, they had an engineer out within 2 hours, who deemed it uneconomical to repair.
LL immediately authorised a replacement, and I had a phonecall within the hour arranging for the new machine to be fitted after work on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, the washing machine fitter discovered a fault with the taps which required a plumber, so they were unable to fit the machine straight away, but the LA had a plumber at the property by 10.30am on Wednesday.
Despite having a busy week, the washing machine fitters managed to squeeze me in yesterday lunchtime and I now have a brand new washing machine! :j
Compare this to my previous LA/LL, who between them took 3 months+ to organise someone coming round to fix a boiler fault which had resulted in the central heating being on full blast 24/7 (and which the previous tenant had been complaining about for over a year :eek::eek:) and you can see why I am chuffed to bits with my current LL & LA!

It's great to hear of a landlord who values his paying customers so much and looks after them so efficiently. Lucky you!0

Many thanks for posting such a positive experience... this level of service DOES happen !!!
MSE has become quite landlord-bashing in recent months.... this is trying to even up the balance a bit - but i somehow doubt it will ever get as long as the Tent thread.......0 -
I had a similar issue here with the heating being constantly on ..........Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0
