Looking for cheapest option for 5 days a week travel, some of it at peak times.
Season ticket is £289 a month plus cost of bus in Edinburgh and subway in Glasgow. All the combined bus/rail tickets seem to be either for east Scotland or for Strathclyde so are no use for Edinburgh Glagow commute.
Are there any ways of doing it cheaper while still going by train? This is for a student, but student railcard can't be used to buy season ticket:(.
