I've upload (?) my photos from camera to Windows Live Photo Gallery. My question, can I e-mail the photos by using Googlemail? I don't use outlook as I have no idea how to set it up and don't have a Outlook e-mail account.

Same question re Adobe Photoshop Elements, please.

Any advice welcome.

John, thanks for the reply. Is your answer referring to Windows PLG or PSE? When I go to e-mail photos, it comes up with sending them via Outlook. I wondered if I could change that to send via Googlemail?

    Thanks

A bit of a tangent, but why not use Picasa, does everything the Windows product does and integrates with Gmail, and Picasaweb albums.

Thanks for the reply re Picasa. I have used it but for some reason, it keeps crashing on me. I keep getting error messages when using it.

Can I upload HD Video to Picasa?

    Thanks

Not as far as I am aware, its video handling features are limited, as its more photo orientated.

Its up to version 3.8 now.

I have been able (thanks to penrhyn) to send photos of my grandson via Picasa. As Picasa has proved unstable for me, I need to look at alternatives.

I would be grateful if someone could answer my question re Windows Live Photo Gallery and PSE.

I've just tried this and it seems to work.

Open Gmail, I have in on my PC as a Google Chrome web app, This may not work with another browser.
    Open a compose mail window.

Open Windows live photo gallery, or the file.

Find the picture you want click on the desired picture hold and drag it across to your gmail message and drop it in the message area.
The only problem may be the size of the file as it may take a while to upload.
