Oh my goodness,
I have had such a shock! CCCs has taken out my DMP payument TODAY instaed of Monday! I didn't think they could take a DD out BEFORE the date, always the day after if it fall on a weekend? Not put all my money into the account and I've gone OD (even though I don't have an OD?!)
Anyone else?

You can go OD with Direct Debits, if your account is limited to the balance in there, in shops etc you can't go OD but you can with DD's.
All I can say is the bank will possibly be following up with a £30 charge for going OD0 -
OMG
Get ready to phone CCCS in 17 mins time:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Make sure the Money is in for Monday as its possible they have only put a hold on the money. If they charge you complain and ask for the charges back.Barclaycard 3800

I get paid by my parents on Monday (Im a childminder) so will have to borrow a bit off hubby I think til then to put account back into the normal area!
Scary...

Right just been on the phone with CCCS.
Basically you can claim your charges back from them, just write to them addressing your letter to the payments team at the usual CCCS address. Of course sending proof the you've been charged.
Apparently there was a problem with the payment system
Right I'm off to try and stuff some cash into my account by the end of the day to hopefully not get charged. Good luck everyone.0 -

You get charged the second you go overdrawn, yet if yo do say to the bank, they may refund the charge as long as you show you've tried to recify it asap. Rare, but happens.~*Cerenia*~

I think that depends on the bank and type of account. Mine doesn't charge unless you are overdrawn at the end of the day, so putting in money before the end of the day would work with my bank.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
you may need to put cash in rather than cheques as cheques take time to clear. also if you pay a mixture of cash and cheques its safer to pay each type on a separate paying in slip (i.e. cash on one paying in slip and cheques on another )0
