Monthly returns for investement

Just sold a property so have around £80-£100k to invest.

I was thinking of putting it back into property and renting ( as per the last ) but due to the mess I had last time, I haven't got the inclination to do this.

I am looking for a monthly return on the money, I have had a look around but before I take the plunge and invest it, can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks

Attitude to investment risk? (dont say none or some as they doesnt tell us anything. Tell us your tolerance to loss. i.e. in a bad year, how much would you accept as a loss on your capital value)

Your tax status? (there are many different tax wrappers depending on your situation. Tax status is one of these things that can impact but also pension credit, age allowance, working tax credits and childrens tax credits can affect. Plus you have IHT and CGT to consider potentially).

How much control of the investment are you likely to want (i.e. you will monitor it monthly, quarterly, yearly, dont want to)
