Cheapest PC Desktop

Hi, I’m trying to buy a cheap desktop PC with monitor. I want to find the cheapest one that is fine for using the web and office, nothing else is needed. I’m not bothered if it is refurbished or new and either vista or 7 is fine. Can anyone recommend a computer or somewhere I can find one? I really do mean the cheapest available:rotfl:

Cheapest desktop with a monitor will probably be PC World or the like if you can stomach fighting off the salesman hungry to sell you loads of extras that you don't need.

How cheap is cheap?

PC World does a Compaq (HP) incl an 18.5" widescreen monitor for £349 with Win 7 included. You won't find much cheaper than that but you have to go to a store to buy it.

If you want to spend less than that you'd need to consider second hand or maybe check your local FreeCycle Network. People are throwing away well Spec'd Desktops all the time. The small ads in your local paper might be worth checking also - it's a risk you might end with a lemon but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
